WellHealth Medical Group and LabCorp partner to bring awareness to the No. 1 killer of women by offering free heart health screenings during the month of February.
Las Vegas, Nevada (February 6, 2015) – 1 out of 3 women will die of heart disease and stroke, but up to 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with the right education and lifestyle changes.
While heart disease continues to claim the lives of thousands of women each year, WellHealth Medical Group and LabCorp are going red to help raise awareness for the American Heart Association®.

During the month of February, WellHealth Medical Group and LabCorp will be offering WellHealth patients a free heart health screening known as a Lipid Panel. The Lipid Panel will test the patient’s Cholesterol, Triglycerides, High-Density Lipoprotein, and Low-Density Lipoprotein. Highly specialized heart health professionals will follow up with every patient in regards to their results.
