Important news for Teachers Health Trust diabetic members!

1/20/2016 - Recognizing the high cost of medications needed to treat diabetes, THT is pleased to announce a new program that will limit the maximum amount you will pay out of pocket for your monthly medications.

Effective February 1st, Trust members who enroll in our Keep It Low diabetic management program will pay a maximum of $100 per 30 day supply, for their preferred (on formulary) diabetic medications.

Trust members must participate in the Keep It Low program to access this benefit. Trust members who are known to be under a physician’s care for the treatment of diabetes have been pre-enrolled in the Keep It Low program and will be sent more information soon! In the meantime, members interested in taking advantage of this new program can email our diabetic management team at KeepItLow@wellhealthqc.com.

The Keep It Low program is just one example of how your Teachers Health Trust Board of Trustees, together with WellHealth Quality Care and the Clark County Education Association, are working together to improve the care delivered to THT members!

While this program is specific to the treatment of diabetes, we’re not stopping there! The THT is exploring other ways to limit our members' out of pocket costs for prescription drugs. Be on the lookout for more announcements coming soon.
