WellHealth Medical Group Signs Notable Female Pelvic Medicine Provider

Dr. Yarini Quezada joins WellHealth’s Women’s Health Division

Las Vegas, NV, 08/25/2015: Today, WellHealth Medical Group announced that Yarini Quezada, MD will be joining WellHealth’s Women’s Health division. She will be providing Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) care to patients, both in the Women’s Specialty Care clinic and the Las Vegas Minimally Invasive Surgery-Women’s Pelvic Health Center (LVMIS-WPHC).

Dr. Yarini Quezada completed a three-year AUGS/ACGME accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). She began practicing Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to improve the quality of life for women living with pelvic floor disorders, who likely suffer from discomfort and embarrassment on a daily basis. She is also Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and has trained at some of the most acclaimed programs across the country, including The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and St. George’s University. 

On her choice to move to Las Vegas and care for the patients in Southern Nevada, Dr. Quezada said, “WellHealth has an outstanding group of educators and clinicians with an immense dedication to academics which will allow me to continue to be in a teaching environment and grow professionally in a vibrant city.” Dr. Yarini Quezada will be working to care for patients utilizing her highly specialized skill set, treating pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, voiding difficulties, interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain, mesh erosions and fistula repairs, and vaginal reconstructive surgery. Dr. Quezada’s goal is to help women eliminate pain, regain their confidence, and return to their daily activities.
